Our Story

Iron Workers was founded by Gary 'Beaver' Beaverson, drawing on decades of hands-on experience across the construction, mining, oil, and gas industries.

Beaver started his career as a rigger, learning the job from the ground up and building a deep working knowledge of site operations and fabrication before moving into construction management. His career has taken him across major projects in Australia and internationally, including operations in Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, and China.

That background shapes how we work today: a no-nonsense, delivery-focused approach grounded in real-world challenges rather than theory. We've stood on the sites we now help others manage.

Today, Iron Workers is a full-service consultancy supporting construction and resources projects across Australia. Our services span construction management, administration, Primavera P6 scheduling, cost control, estimating, and business development. We work with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, mining operators, and engineering firms, delivering quality outcomes from early planning through to commissioning.

Action The Plan

We communicate the plan clearly with the execution team, ensuring everyone understands the priorities, responsibilities and required outcomes. By providing clarity and direction, we empower the team to take ownership and deliver with confidence.

Monitor and Manage

We continuously monitor progress against the baseline, identifying issues, risks and potential delays early. Where required, we adjust the plan, resources or approach to keep the project aligned with its objectives.

Complete and Handover

We work systematically towards completion and handover through established processes, ITPs, inspections, documentation, sign-offs and pre-commissioning checks. Our focus remains on ensuring the project is completed safely, efficiently and ready for handover.
